The top picture is what Genia and I called the $2000 photograph. In April, 1982 we flew in to the states without letting Mom and Dad know. Ellis and Jody arranged for Ron to be there for a belated birthday celebration. By chance, Shirley and Paul Lubin (that's the back of Paul's head in the photo)were there showing them pictures from their recent trip to Israel (including many pictures of us!). Ellis and Jody walked in the door and then after a few minutes, we knocked and walked in. Dad looked at us, looked down at the photos of us, looked at us again and then said to Mom in the kitchen, "Joan, you better come out here!" She came out with a dish towel, did a little jump in the air and a dance, and went back in the kitchen. This photo was taken as she emerged the 2nd time!
